Last week we presented the VELOXY® System, selected by the prestigious University of Dubrovnik, Croatia for the Department of Art and Restoration.
This department offers students specialised training in the conservation of materials such as wood, paper, textiles and metal. Combining theory with hands-on experience, students work in advanced laboratories and acquire practical skills through workshops and field projects. The course offers expert tuition in traditional and modern techniques.
Graduates are prepared for careers in museums, galleries and conservation, contributing to the protection of the world’s heritage.
In cooperation with Prof. Joško Bogdanović, Head of the Department of Art and Restoration, and the other professors of the Department, we presented the VELOXY® System in a spirit of teamwork, illustrating the advantages of anoxic treatment and its effectiveness in the conservation of works of art.
